He is the Global Lead Digital Sustainability Products for Syngenta Group, while previously, he has worked for the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) on the EU projects ENDURE and PURE, and as an International Consultant for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) across various international projects.

Noa Simón Delso is Scientific Director and Project Manager at BeeLife. She holds a PhD in Agricultural Science and Bioengineering from the Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium), an MSc in Economy, Management and Consumer Studies from Wageningen University (the Netherlands) and she is a DVM from the University of León (Spain). Noa manages a melliferous agroforestry farm in Spain, where she works as a beekeeper and leads educational initiatives on nature conservation, pollinators and beekeeping products. Professionally, she specialises in environmental toxicology and pollinator health, combining scientific research, policy support at European level and more recently data science applications to advance bee health.

Hien Ngo is a Biodiversity and Pollination Expert with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). She has over 15 years of experience at the science–policy interface, including serving as Senior Assessment Lead for the Assessment Report on Biodiversity and Climate Change mandated by the U.S. Congress under the U.S. Geological Survey. She has contributed to IPBES throughout its first work programme and has worked across Japan, Costa Rica, Viet Nam, the Philippines, and Germany. Saorla Kavanagh

Research Officer in Teagasc and coordinator of FarmBioNet

Saorla Kavanagh is a Research Officer in Teagasc. She leads the Farmland Biodiversity Research Group in the Environment, Soils and Land Use Department. Her area of expertise is in pollinator ecology and conservation, high-diversity landscape features, and results-based payment schemes.

Saorla is working on several projects using a multidisciplinary action research approach that aims to enhance farmland biodiversity. Her research seeks to understand how agricultural land management practices, affect ecological processes and how farmers’ knowledge and perceptions of farmland biodiversity effect farm management decisions.

Saorla developed a whole farm pollinator scoring system and a farmer led moth monitoring programme with the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan, and is the coordinator of the Horizon Europe project FarmBioNet (Farmer-focussed Biodiversity and Agricultural Knowledge Network).
